Two years ago today I met up with this cute boy from my American Heritage class. We had met the day before and spent 7+ hours on campus just hanging out. He had the cutest smile and I thought he was way too cute and cool to really be interested in me. We studied for our class, which really consisted of me awkwardly trying to flirt with him while he tried to study. He held my hand and then we went to "explore" the library, and meanwhile that cute boy had a secret plan. He kissed me behind a big display on the first floor, and I literally died. We were totally official after that and I have kissed him every.single.day since. I am so lucky.

Oh boy!
We did the best thing this week. After a loooonnng day at school, Mark picked me up and we headed to the Fetal Studio in Sandy to see our cute little baby and maybe get a good guess at the sex. I was literally so nervous I thought I was going to throw up the whole way there. This family from Lithuania ran the business themselves and they were so nice. As soon as he touched the wand to my belly we saw our baby! The next second Mark said "...so is it a boy?" Ha! It definitely is and we are so excited! He was upside down the whole time waving his legs around. So, meet baby Bennett.

Guess what?
Lately...
So I have been majorly slacking here. Part of the reason is that we lost our camera, so I have no pictures! The other reason is that I've just been ridiculously busy. Here's a quick recap:
Thanksgiving:
Mark and I made a big dinner (minus the turkey, but with duck!) and had my brother-in-law Nick over. It was really fun! We had waaay too much food though.
Our Anniversary:
Since it was on a Sunday, we started celebrating the day before. We went to Crackerbarrel for breakfast, and it was wonderful-seriously delicious. Then Mark got me flowers and chocolates! We hung out and then went to a movie later that night. It was perfect.
The next day, our actual anniversary, we exchanged gifts and made a yummy dinner together, oh-and went to church! It's been absolutely the best year of my life. :)
A picture of my flowers after they had already died...
Christmas:
We went to Texas! I was so nervous because it was my first Christmas away from home. I really missed my family, but it was great being with Mark and his family too. We did a lot of boy stuff, but I made Mark do some girl stuff with me too!
And now, the new semester has started and it is a little crazy. We are getting into the swing of it though!

Date Night
Last night Mark and I went on a very fun date. First, we ate dinner at the deli at Sundance. It was delicious. We both got the Turkey-Bacon-Avocado sandwich, except I got a half, and I got the tortilla soup. Once we were done, we headed back to our car to get our jackets because it was getting cold! Then we drove up to find a trail that Brent told us about. We couldn't find it though so we just decided to park somewhere and walk around. We got out and started walking and right in front of us was the trail! We started hiking up and the view was just beautiful. Fall is just starting here in Provo, but the trees on the mountains are already turning all shades of yellow and red. We only went about half way up, but the point we stopped out had a gorgeou
s view. It was
definitely a wonderful date n
ight :)
Birthday
Last weekend was my 20th birthday. I'll admit that it's one of my favorite holidays and that, maybe, I reminded Mark about it for a few months prior. He would never forget though, he loves to spoil me. I woke up last Saturday to birthday decorations in the living room and all my presents from Mark on the couch. He got me a couple of cute little things, but the big ones-and my favorites, were a pink mixer for baking and blue vintage boots! I don't have any pictures of them yet, but I bet I will soon. Both things caught me by surprise because they were things I had mentioned wanting, but I hadn't talked about in a while. The best part of the whole day was that it was the first Saturday that Mark didn't have to work in a couple of months. I loved loved loved getting to spend the whole weekend with him. We got a cake from Coldstone and then we went to Chili's (my sweet in-laws sent me a gift card). Mostly though, we just stayed in and watched conference and spent time together. And while Mark went to Priesthood session, my good friend Abby took me out for a treat and gave me the most adorable scarf. It was a perfect birthday. Thanks everybody!
