Not photogenic

Since Mark and I have been married we barely take any pictures. It's not because we do less than when we were dating or engaged. It's not because I'm not as excited to show everyone how cute my man is. The real reason is that we (mostly me) are not very photogenic. Here is our best picture from our attempt last week:
After we took this picture I remembered when we first started dating and we wanted to take our first picture together. It went a little something like this:
I'm not sure why we never asked my roommates to help out, but it sure is a funny memory!

Busy!

I should definitely blog more! I will work on that. We have been busy the past couple of weeks visiting our families! We got to go to Florida over a weekend to see my family and to be at Ben's graduation-it was sooo much fun. It was great to see my fam. and so wonderful to get to go to the beach! The next week we got to go to Texas for a whole week to see Mark's family! His brother Nick got home from his mission in Chile and we wanted to be there for that. It was so nice to be with family and enjoy some southern sun-not to mention Mark's favorite part of being there-the food! Now we are back though and slowly coming back down to reality. I FINALLY changed my name this week and we are still on the search for second jobs. Mark had an interview this morning and I have one this afternoon; I know we will find something! We had to find Rosi a new home because of all the trips we were taking and the fact that we aren't supposed to have here in our apartment anyway-it was sad, but the little girl we gave her too was over-the-moon excited. I'm kind of proud of us because I feel like we're really on our way to becoming real adults, haha!

Becky

In the spirit of Mother's Day tomorrow, this post is dedicated to my momma. This beautiful lady is exactly the kind of mother and wife that I hope I can be. She has given me the most perfect example of true love I could ever ask for. She has experienced trials that I can only pray I will never have to, but in the face of those hardships she has not only persevered, but she has grown even stronger. She has constantly thrown her support behind me in ANYTHING and everything that I go after. It's hard living across the country and I miss her very much, but I know that the (almost) 18 years I spent at home learning from her will stay with me the rest of my life, and that I will keep learning from her even while I'm not at home about being a woman, a wife, and a mother.
Thanks for being the best mom, I love you.

I'm not sure, but...

I might be the luckiest girl in the world. What other 22-year old man would put up with all my silliness, and not only put up with it, but love it? That's right, none other than Mark Wenger. He has to suffer through the pains of living with a teenage girl- the girly music, the girly movies, the (occasional) temper tantrums, but he does it happily. That, my friends is love. ♥

ETSY!

I have always loved etsy. You can find the cutest things and they are all hand-made. So I thought I would give it a try. Check out my store and don't judge! ;)

Monday

Sometimes walking through the BYU Law Building is like walking into an episode of Full House. I just want to take those poor guys aside and say "Hey Law School kid, you can study all you want, but it won't get you anywhere if you're still dressing like Uncle Joey." I wouldn't say that though, because that would be rude. Annnnd the sad thing is, they will probably never learn to wear cool clothes, but they probably will make lots of moola. Why does it seem like no one but me has their priorities straight?!

Oh, also, I love Mark.

And I'm so glad this Monday is over.

And I have been obsessed with making headbands. I got the idea from Nicole! I will post pictures later.
